The Jade Chinese Music Ensemble is a not-for-profit performing arts group serving the Chicago metropolitan area. Debuted in 2021 at the University of Chicago, the ensemble is dedicated to providing a performance space for musicians interested in the traditional and contemporary Chinese music and promoting cultural diversity in the music scene of Chicago. The ensemble connects performers and music lovers from across the university and communities beyond, allowing them to explore, collaborate, and create.  

The ensemble holds two concerts every year and performs in collaboration with the Chinese Fine Arts Society, the University of Chicago Department of Music, and in various cultural events in the Greater Chicago area.
